Waterloo
- Located just 20 km south of Brussels, Waterloo is famous for being the site of the famous Battle of Waterloo, in which British forces and their allies defeated Napoleon Bonaparte in 1815. Today, the site of the battle is a popular tourist attraction, with several museums and monuments commemorating the battle.
In addition to the site of the famous Battle of Waterloo, Waterloo also boasts several interesting museums, including the Waterloo Memorial, which tells the story of the battle, and the Wellington Museum, which is located in the former residence of the Duke of Wellington. Leuven
