Tulum, a must see in Quintana Roo


Tulum is located in the Riviera Maya, in the state of Quintana Roo, one of the main national and international tourist destinations.

Since next to it are located the archaeological ruins of the Mayan city of Tulum, for which it receives this name.  This place is more than a tourist site, without a doubt it is a magical place, due to its history since it was a Mayan fortress, here is "El Castillo", which is located on the edge of a cliff from where you can appreciate the turquoise waters of the sea, without a doubt a wonderful postcard, in addition to knowing the Temple of the Descending God, and the Temple of the Frescoes.

Archaeological Ruins of Tulum (Ruinas Arqueológicas de Tulum)


It is one of its main attractions, Tulum, its name means "wall" in Mayan, and it is believed that this name was given to it when the city was no longer occupied and was in ruins. At the beginning of the 20th century the Mayans still lived in the surroundings and visited the temples of Tulum. The Ruins are very close to Playa del Carmen which makes them receive a large influx of tourism.

The Xel Ha Ecological Park is considered one of the greatest attractions in Tulum, since it is a very extensive natural area and where you can do various water activities.

Follow Highway to the Riviera Maya, just 145 kilometers from Cancun, is Tulum.
